Customisation knows no limits with Kyocera’s HyPAS

Office technology is evolving at a rapid rate. Sophisticated multifunctional systems designed to serve as shared resources can enable organisations, large and small, to optimise efficiency and productivity by streamlining document workflows.

However requirements change from business to business and user to user; not all workflows are alike. As a result, businesses require their Multifunction Printers (MFP) to be customisable and able to meet their unique workflow requirements.

Engineered to evolve with HyPAS

To meet this need for customisation, Kyocera MFPs are built on a state-of-the-art platform that allows software developers to easily create solutions that simplify scanning and distribution tasks. A user can scan sensitive data such as a patient’s records, courtroom transcripts or mortgage applications to a network folder, providing immediate access to mission-critical files. To increase accountability, a user can be required to swipe his/her ID card to authenticate before accessing Scan-to functions. Controls can also restrict device functions such as colour printing, further driving down the cost of doing business. What makes this, and much more, possible? Kyocera’s HyPAS technology.

The Hybrid Platform for Advanced Solutions (HyPAS) is a powerful Kyocera software development environment that optimises the performance of select Kyocera MFPs and its capabilities can be enhanced by Kyocera or their third-party solution partners.

Gaining the competitive edge means having fast, convenient access to information, so HyPAS business applications are designed to be intuitive. In fact, the steps taken to synchronize MFP control panel functions with document management systems, mobile devices, and more, are invisible to the end-user, making image capture and distribution a breeze.

With the festive season in full swing, Kyocera has been hosting and attending events with an added little sparkle.

Our NSW reseller management team recently hosted their last event for 2012. Kyocera team members Binh Johnsun, Joanna Win, Kerry White and Peter Wroblewski celebrated the festive season with champagne cocktails, sangria, great food and representatives from our valued partners.

“On the evening, we showcased our 6th Generation of mono printers and SoHo range to our valued resellers and thanked them for working with and supporting Kyocera during the year. We celebrated Christmas early with drinks, great food and lots of merriment.” – Binh Johnsun, Kyocera Reseller Manager

xmas3Santa’s little elves had been busy decorating our showroom with tinsel, garlands and baubles. And in the spirit of Christmas cheer no-one went home empty handed, each guest received a Christmas gift, including some sweet treats and candy canes!

The team gave a short presentation about our new Kyocera SoHo range and an update on our current promotions.

Our colleagues at Kyocera Solar joined in the fun and demonstrated the benefits of adding solar to your business by offsetting power bills, effectively running your Kyocera printer and office equipment with 100% clean and abundant sun power.
